1.1 Brand and Operation: CCLLeap ("the Platform", "we", "us", or "our") is an independent online language learning and exam preparation platform brand, independently operated by the CCLLeap team. The Platform has no agency, representative, or authorisation relationship with any official examining body, government agency, or educational institution.
1.2 Contact: For any questions about this Policy, or to access, correct, or delete your personal information, please contact info@cclleap.com. We will respond within 14 days of receiving your request.
1.3 Changes in Operating Entity: Should the operating entity or legal structure of the Platform change, we will update this Policy accordingly and notify you in accordance with Section 8.

3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information above solely to:
3.1 What We Do Not Do: We never sell, rent, or disclose your personal data to any third party for their commercial marketing, and we will not use your recordings for purposes unrelated to those above.
3.2 Retention:
- Audio files, transcripts, and answer records: where no instructor feedback applies — deleted from our systems within 7 days of scoring being complete; where one-on-one instructor feedback applies — deleted within 30 days of feedback being completed. We do not retain this content long-term.
- Scoring reports, instructor comments, and account information: retained in your account for your own review; deleted or anonymised within 30 days after you close your account.
- Records we must keep to meet legal obligations (such as payment records) are retained for the period required by law and used only for compliance purposes.
4. Storage and Security
4.1 Storage and Security: We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorised access, disclosure, modification, or loss, including access controls and encryption in transit (HTTPS).
4.2 Security Incidents: If personal information is subject to unauthorised access, modification, or loss, we will take immediate remedial action and promptly notify affected users and relevant regulators once confirmed.

We share data only where necessary, as follows:

6.1 Response Time: We will respond within 14 days of receiving your request. If an extension is needed due to complexity, we will inform you of the reasons and expected timeframe.
